About
NextGen Solutions

NextGen Solutions was founded by two experienced IT professionals who saw a growing demand for businesses wanting direct access to capable specialists, without the red tape of large corporate providers.

After working for major organisations including Spark and Fujitsu, Brenton and Mike combined their experience to build a consultancy that prioritises relationships, outcomes, and practical problem-solving.

What started as delivering modern workspaces during COVID has evolved into a full-service IT consultancy supporting organisations across infrastructure, cloud, modern workspace, and managed services.

We work closely with business owners, CIOs, and IT teams to design and support IT environments that are efficient, secure, and genuinely fit for purpose.

Mike Sullivan

Mike's professional profile is a rare example of a truly blended career.

He is an IT architect who understands the physics of construction; a property developer who understands the logic of the cloud; and a business advisor who understands the emotional intelligence required for leadership and family life.

His tenure at CCL, Spark, and Fujitsu provided the technical and systemic framework; his work at SMR and Klyne provided the entrepreneurial and operational proof; and his role at BSP Advisory provides the platform for sharing these insights with the next generation of New Zealand business leaders.

Mike's impact on the Canterbury region—through innovative housing in Rolleston, disruptive real estate models in Christchurch, and mentorship for SMB owners highlights his commitment to purposeful, sustainable growth.

As the digital and physical worlds continue to converge, Mike remains at the forefront of this transformation, proving that the most effective leaders are those who can operate seamlessly across any vertical, architecting success wherever they choose to build.
