Privacy Policy
Last updated 15 October 2026
We respect your privacy and only collect the information we need to do business with you. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
NextGen Solutions Ltd is an IT consultancy and managed services provider based in Christchurch, New Zealand. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us: when you email or call us, or engage us for services, we collect details such as your name, business name, role, email address, phone number and the content of your enquiry.
Information collected through our website: we use Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used. It records anonymous usage data such as pages viewed, referring site, browser, device type and approximate location (country or region). It does not use cookies to track you across sites and does not identify you personally.
Information from client engagements: when we deliver services we may have access to client systems and data. We handle that information only as needed to provide the services and under the confidentiality terms of the engagement.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver and support our services, manage billing, meet legal obligations, and improve our website and services.
We only contact people about our services where they have enquired, are existing clients, or where the law otherwise allows. You can ask us to stop at any time.
4. Sharing information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, such as email, hosting, accounting and analytics providers, and only as needed for those purposes. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Some of these providers store or process data outside New Zealand, including in the United States. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to make sure the information is protected to a standard comparable with the Privacy Act.
5. Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including access controls and the use of reputable, secured platforms. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or to meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymise it.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser or hosting platform may use technical data needed to deliver the site and keep it secure.

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. To make a request, email us using the details below. We will respond within 20 working days.
8. Privacy breaches
If a privacy breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify the affected people and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner as the Act requires.
